S. Angelo (Foggia) Quercus ilex wood. - The authors have carried out a study on the bryological flora of the Mt. S. Angelo Quercus ilex wood, on the Gargano peninsula (Italy). After a brief survey of climate and vegetation, a list of 69 bryophytes is given: 6 species of liverworts and 63 species of mosses. 27 species belong to the circumboreal element, 26 are mediterranean, 13 cosmopolitan and 3 atlantic.
