Abstract

At a preliminary trial for subclover establishment on unfavorable soil and climate in «dehesas» (ground under Quercus ilex cover) four sowing sistems were comparated: sowing broadcast (Vi) 10 Kg/Ha. of seeds, and (V2) 15 Kg/Ha.; sowing in rows (L^) 10 Kg/Ha. and (¿2) 15 Kg/Ha. At all sistems the cover seeds is made by means of passing a broom picking sledge over ground. The issues showed was more important the sowing method than the amount of seed for the number of plants obtained and its distribution over ground. In this trial, with 10 Kg/Ha. of seeds sowed in rows. 1,5 cm. deep (Li) 85 % more plants than 15 Kg/Ha. broadcast (V2) were obtained. PASTO
